This blog is about the art of caricature, techniques and mysteries, history and psychology and my adventures in the field.
About me
I've been drawing caricatures at parties for twenty-one years. That includes family parties, like birthdays, weddings, mitzvahs, graduations and any other kind of excuse to get together; and corporate events, like company picnics, retirement, Christmas party, open house, trade show and in-house parties to keep the spirits up. So, I'll talk about those events here. But I'll also get into teaching topics, like technique and the history of this art.------ I welcome your comments!A typical party scene

The drawing I did of you earlier this evening is really not a caricature. I didn’t make you look funny, deciding to go for pretty instead. I thought you would like that. Maybe at another party in the future, I’ll do a real caricature of you. Generally I do mild drawings of kid. For older kids and adults I do really funny drawings and those would be called caricatures.
I will post some of this evening’s drawings here in this blog, so check in again!
